Why consider home care?
Home care provides you, or your loved ones, with the assistance needed to stay safe and comfortable at home, maintaining quality of life and free from worry. Today, more than 50 million Americans are caregivers to an elderly parent or relative, and over 15 million workdays are missed annually because of elder caregiving.
What level of service do you provide?
ComfortMax provides 24/7 non-medical assistance to clients 365 days a year – clients who are unable to fully care for themselves and their homes, but who value self-reliance and self-respect. Whether daytime, overnight or live-in care is needed, we are here for you. Our professionals provide assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, personal grooming, child or maternity care, relieving stress and restoring peace of mind – always with a “human touch.” Services range from meal preparation, transportation and light housekeeping to bathing, exercise, hair care, and shopping.
How do you train your caregivers?
Our professional caregivers include home health aides and certified nursing assistants– all thoroughly trained in CPR and first aid, tested, bonded and insured. Clients can be confident in knowing that ComfortMax professionals undergo rigorous screening, regular training, and careful supervision--procedures that provide clients with friendly, caring support in the safe and stable environment of their homes.
How much does home care cost?
ComfortMax works hard to make our services affordable to all, and gladly accepts payment from private individuals, long-term care insurance, Medicaid, workers comp and other sources. We offer hourly, daily, weekly, and extended term rates at very affordable prices. Ask us for full details.
Why hire ComfortMax versus an individual caregiver?
All ComfortMax caregivers are experienced, bonded and insured, thoroughly screened and carefully trained. We take care of all payroll, tax and IRS requirements, as well as workers comp for any accidents occurring on the job. Days and times of service are flexible and at your discretion. One phone call provides your loved one with a replacement caregiver should an emergency arise. In short, we take the headaches and stress out of caring for your loved ones.
Are you Medicaid certified?
Yes, ComfortMax is Medicaid certified, and meets all requirements of the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
